Nothing much, he just took a nice break. Sometimes shifting gear means moving forward at greater speed, but it might also mean to slow down, to take some time to look around and contemplate all those things that surround us and wonder. Or to take another arm break. Yup he needed to slow down again, which explain the hectic update schedule that's been around lately.
